Characteristics:
1. Anti-corrosion: Resisting corrosion from various gas or liquid medium such as acid, alkali, organic solvent and compound. According to the requirement in deferent environment, customers have options in using orthophthalic polyester, isophthalmic polyester, vinyl ester as matrix material.

2. High strength-to-weight ratio: With quarter density to steel and two thirds density to aluminum, the grating by JSECC provides high strength as ten times to rigid PVC, the same absolute strength standard as normal steel, absolute strength of aluminum profile.

3. Fire retardant: the pultruded grating, molded grating and pultruded profile from JSECC have the oxygen index beyond 32 according to China GB8924, also have the flame spread rating as one-grade in terms of ASTM E-84, furthermore the flame spread rating of high fire-retardant vinyl ester grating is less than 10 and obtain the recognition from ABS. Safety is guaranteed by special formulation to meet the requirement of flame resistance for engineering projects.

4. Resistance to Impact and Fatigue: JSECC grating provides higher impact strength. It allows repeated bending without permanent deformation.

5. Slip Resistance: Molded FRP grating by JSECC has functional concave surface and gritted surface both providing superior slip resistance. More comfortable and secure while walking on it, the application greatly decreases accidents caused by slip.

6. Anti-aging: By selecting quality resins and reinforcements, more than 20 years of life is guaranteed for grating products by JSECC. To be exposed over 20 years the strength still remains over 85%.

7. Safety: FRP pultruded grating, molded grating and series pultruded profiles have excellent property on electric insulation, no electric breakdown and arc occur under voltage of 10KV.
